As you know the fisherman profession is started in Dofus recently. Are you wondering how can you be effective with leveling the profession. There does not seem to be many places for people practicing this profession to gather their resources. From looking at the world map and the coordinates in Dofus, of where there are fishing spots, barely any compared to places with cereal for farmer, trees for lumberjack, mines for miners, monsters to kill for hunters.
All we know is leveling(Dofus gold) the first few levels at the Sufokia Swimming Pool, with a whole success rate it's the best place to start off. But now where can we go after? We also read up that the profession can be leveled from successful catching of fish. So we were thinking, compared to other gathering professions. Does this profession can also level from actually gutting the fishes caught? There are only two ways to gain profession points after level 20. Scrolls and catching fish.
At level(Dofus powerleveling) 20, you stop getting the single prof xp from gutting fish. As you level your fisherman, you can use higher level rods to reach more holes. Even at level 100, you won't be able to reach all of them. It's a long hard slog to 100. Two main areas I used were the Asse coast which river holes with a few sea holes mixed in, around Amakna Cemetery, and Sufokia nearly all sea holes itself. The pier is usually full of fishermen and I just avoided it. I just developed a circuit I'd fish in each of these areas. Since time of day matters a lot to success rate, I'd test fish a few maps and decide whether to continue. At high levels, you rarely miss on a good fishing day. ^_^
