Word that DOFUS 2.0, the company’s Flash based MMORPG, is scheduled to be released on December 2, 2009. The upgraded version is a major update to the game, featuring a complete rewrite of the graphic engine, server, and client code. Ankama also revealed plans to release a boxed version of the game in 2010.

Since its release in September 2004, DOFUS, the tactical MMORPG, has undergone numerous updates that have contributed to its international success. Today, DOFUS is available in 7 languages and is one of the top 5 online games in the world.
